![]() Much the same - Aftermath hasn't been presented as a bundle of several small pieces of content thus far - It's been presented as a single upgrade pack with multiple pieces of content. The characters weren't available piecemeal. They were just sold as a single all-in-one package upgrade that added several characters and new features all it once - For a single price. ![]() ![]() Like the SSFIV upgrades to Arcade Edition or Ultra. This strategy at face value has more in common with some the upgrade packs Street Fighter IV released back when it was current. They're advertising Aftermath more like an all-in-on package upgrade to the game. Which is exactly my point - I don't think we can necessarily take it for granted that these characters will have the same availability as typical DLC, because these characters aren't releasing in the same way typical DLC characters usually do for MK games. It makes sense to sell them individually when they release them individually - But that's not the case here. How are new players paying base game launch price for everything (including the newest dlc) on release of aftermath? Seeing that base game + kp1 is 49.99$?ĭLC characters have also always been released one at a time over the course of several months - Not 3 at once all on the same day. I'm happy about getting new content but the pricing is just. I get that the dlc has to cost money and game development is not cheap. There’s also a complete Collection package that’ll get you the original game and all DLC in one package – so Aftermath and Kombat Pack 1 – and that’ll cost $59.99/£49.99. This includes Kombat Pack 1, which includes six extra playable characters, and a bunch of skins. That gets you everything mentioned above.Ī bundle with Kombat Pack 1, bringing you up to date on existing DLC, is £39.99/$49.99. Just the Aftermath expansion for MK11 will cost £34.99/$39.99. So can we talk about how ridiculous the pricing for aftermath is in relation to the new bundles with kombat pack 1 and the complete kollection bundle? ![]() Commissions/Requests - r/FanOfTheJoystick Please be mindful about spoilers, don't put them in the post title.Ĭlear theme?
